Coil-Rite air springs are designed for cars with coil spring suspensions. They fit inside the existing coil springs to generate a variable spring rate. Variable spring rates offer a slower spring rate in unloaded conditions and a higher spring rate in loaded conditions. The result? A smoother ride for you and your passengers, and more support and control while you drive.
Is Firestone 4107 Coil-Rite installation easy? Yes. Your Firestone Coil-Rite air spring kit includes everything you need for a quick, easy installation. Install time averages one to two hours, and most Firestone Coil-Rite kits are no-drill. Coil-Rite springs are made from elastic polyurethane and attach to your vehicle's existing spring seats. Note that gauges, switches, air compressors, and air tanks are sold separately. Purchase additional air accessories to inflate and deflate your car air springs from the comfort of your cab.
Once installed, your Firestone 4107 Coil-Rite air springs are easy to adjust so you can maintain even load distribution and ride comfort. A centered load reduces body roll to enhance vehicle stability. By absorbing road shock and softening the interaction between your car's axles and frame, Coil-Rite air springs help prevent bottoming out. Note that Firestone 4107 Coil-Rite kits are not in-bed hitch compatible.
